Maku's products are made with the finest reclaimed, sustainable plantation grown teak (Tectona grandis) available in the world and we have gone to great lengths in establishing strategic partnerships that allow ample wood availability with minimal impact to the fragile Indonesian eco system.
The quality of our wood is second to none and each plank is painstakingly examined for irregularities and flaws prior to manufacturing resulting in a consistent warm golden honey aesthetic throughout each piece.
To further our quest to create the finest furniture on the market today all Maku furnishings are kiln dried to minimum of 10% moisture content under very strict manufacturing guidelines, feature world class 
hardware combined with dovetail joinery and are expertly finished to create a masterpiece for your living space.
